Bulgaria is leading the world with house prices rising more than 30% on average year-on-year.
This is concluded by the Global House Price Index and quoted by acclaimed international estate agent, Knight Frank for the year to Quarter Three. Bulgaria has moved up the index eight places and has reached number one over the last year with average prices of a staggering 30.6%. In the previous quarter it was runner-up.

Veliko Tarnovo is the former Capital city of Bulgaria. It is a charming and welcoming ancient city built on three hillsides that is split into two parts. You have one one side the old town and on the other a modern and glitzy new town.
The old town is, as you would imagine, full of medieval charm with its cobbled winding lanes and beautiful original architecture with lots of traditional craft shops, small and intimate bars and restaurants and its famous Tsaravets Fortress which is one of the best preserved in Bulgaria.
Vidin was originally the largest shipping port in Bulgaria with its prominent position on the Danube River. The building of the road bridge from Vidin to Romania is guaranteed to put Vidin on the 'property hotspot' map of Bulgaria. Already in villages that are in close proximity to the regional port town there is a demand for long term rental of good quality properties that will accommodate the Spanish owned company workforce that will be arriving for the start of the building process.
